Presented by: Alison Parnham, RGN, Clinical Nurse Specialist in Tissue Viability, Nottingham.

Our experienced speaker works within a team of specialists and skilled experienced Tissue Viability Nurses at Nottingham CityCare. Alison is also the module leader for tissue viability modules which include both acute and chronic wound care at degree and master level for the University of Nottingham.


The aim of this webcast is to outline the causes, clinical presentation and management of the common conditions relating to Moisture-Associated Skin Damage (MASD). Alison Parnham will discuss the potential implications that too much moisture can have on the skin. She will summarise the importance of assessment, introduce a simple classification tool for MASD, the SMART resource and discuss the most appropriate prevention & management strategies.
